William Harvey “Liam” May assists clients in a wide variety of immigration matters. His practice includes representing individuals before the Executive Office of Immigration Review and USCIS in asylum proceedings, helping businesses through the labor certification process, and navigating individuals through the National Interest Waiver visa application. He also specializes in local government law.

Prior to founding May & May, Liam worked as Deputy Chief of Staff to a Miami City Commissioner. Liam brings over a decade of additional experience in American politics, having managed or worked on campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels across several states. As a result, he is intimately familiar with the particularities and nuances of government entities in the United States.

Liam combines this unique perspective with his legal acumen to deliver satisfactory results for clients, whether they are navigating the complexities of applying for a labor certification through the United States Department of Labor, rebutting a “Notice of Intent to Deny” from USCIS, or seeking to resolve a conflict with their municipality.
